The right to education is protected by the European Convention on Human Rights. In Ukraine the right is also guaranteed by Article 53 of the Constitution of Ukraine.

The ongoing war has made it very difficult. Educational institutions in Ukraine have witnessed the challenge with providing education due to the war and to those, who are looking for temporary protection abroad.

How do people perceive the right to education in Europe? Is it being taken for granted? Can education still be interesting, innovative and be an individual’s safe place?

Ukrainian-Danish Youth House will speak up about the challenges and talk about how to rethink education as we are living in times of uncertainty and transformations. Together with four motivated volunteers from Ukraine who dedicate their time to education, we will share the experience on how to adopt to new realities, and how to keep believing in the future.
